58 Grade Appeals

Students have the right to initiate an appeal of their course grades (see Policy ST3 Grade Appeals / Procedures). Faculty members and instructional staff often find this process stressful, but it is not unusual for students to launch appeals of their course grades. If this happens, the Dean or Associate Dean will notify you that an appeal has been initiated, and you may be asked to submit to the Dean or Associate Dean all additional coursework that was not returned to the student and any additional instructional materials that you provided to the student.
