49 Early Alert Program

The Early Alert program is an online service that enables instructors to identify students who are at risk of falling behind. Rather than simply hoping that students in difficulty will seek help, instructors are able to refer students for timely and targeted support. The system provides early intervention so that small problems don’t turn into large problems. Similarly, the Early Alert system allows instructors to address student issues when more personal communication may not be possible. Sometimes, instructors themselves may be unaware of all the resources available which can help students, so the Early Alert system brings all those resources together. Students do matter. The Early Alert program lets students know that people at Kwantlen care. The supports that are available to students show them that they are important.
