On the way to the farmer’s house, the purple chicken and the black duck see an orange vixen exercising. The chicken and the duck run towards her and tell her that the sky is falling. The orange vixen agrees and assures them that the sky is falling and convinces them to take a shortcut through the cornfield in order to get to the farmer’s house faster. However, in the cornfield the orange vixen reveals her true intentions by trying to eat the purple duck and the black duck.

The chicken and the duck run and escape. Arriving at the farmer’s house they tell him what happened. The farmer tells them that by panicking they put their lives in danger.

Moral: Unjustified panic can put life in danger.
