How to use ¡Voy en camino!
¡Voy en camino! has 7 units of study. They can be found by clicking on the content menu.
Each opening page for each unit contains the title of the unit, the learning objectives of the unit, and the table of contents of the unit.
Each unit has 3 parts. They can be found by expanding the opening page of each unit on the context menu. To move from one part to another you can either expand each part on the content menu or click next or previous at the bottom of the page you are navigating.
Each part within a unit has 3 sections which must be expanded from the landing page of each part within a unit to access its content. These sections are called:
- Vocabulario (Vocabulary), presented in blue.
- Gramática (Grammar), presented in green.
- Cultura hispanohablante (Spanish-speaking Culture), presented in orange.
The content within each part is presented with text for you to study the unit. It may also be accompanied by audio, videos, and links. All sections come with embedded activities for you to practice the material you are studying. Some activities are interactive through which you can self-pace and self-test your knowledge. Others require the use of a notebook or computer for you to keep track of the answers that you can bring to class or directly to your instructor for feedback. You will also find opportunities to record yourself to practice speaking and download the audio files to listen to yourself, save them, and check with your instructor for feedback.
Throughout ¡Voy en camino! you will see some words in Spanish highlighted and underlined that when clicked, either a translation in English or a definition will pop up. You will be able to find an automatically generated alphabetized list of all selected words in Spanish in the Glossary section which can be found by clicking on the content menu. Similarly, you will find some links with reference to grammar tables studied, which you can click on and see the table. You also will be able to find all grammar tables studied by expanding the section Grammar Tables to be found on the content menu.
Footnotes in the text are indicated with a superscript numeral (like this1). By clicking on the superscript numeral the additional information or reference will show at the bottom of the page with the same numeral of the footnote. To come back to the text you must click on the footnote arrow at the end of the footnote information.
