Academic Skills Workshops
The Learning Centers provide a range of free workshops which help you develop skills and strategies to enhance your learning. Academic Skills Workshops featured in this booklet are available online. They allow students the opportunity to build study skills in an interactive learning environment.
Request a Workshop
Some workshops can be offered in other languages to support multilingual students, and additional workshops can be scheduled on request. Are you interested in the workshops listed on our website but are unable to attend ? Is there a study skills related topic you would like to learn about but there isn’t a workshop offered? Get a group of five or more people and fill out the Request A Workshop form. We will connect with you to follow up.

How to Register for a Workshop
To register for an Academic Skills Workshop, please follow the steps below:
1. Visit kpu.ca/learningcentres to sign up.
2. Select “Check Out Our Workshops” on the main page.
3. Click to view upcoming workshops.
4. Click on the desired workshop to register.
5. Click here to register.
6. Enter your student information and select a workshop date and time from the list.
7. On the day of workshop, click on the link provided in the email sent to you when you register.
