9 How to Make Homemade Pizza – Ravinder Khangura
Actually, during the pandemic me and my family members are avoiding to eating outside. So, we are making many dishes at home. In this assignment, I am going to share the complete process of home-made pizza.
Material
- Measuring cup
- 1 teaspoon
- 1 cup
- Large Bowl
- Large spoon or something to mix with Oven mitts (optional but for safety reasons)
Ingredients
- Olive Oil
- 5 cups of flour
- 2 teaspoon of Pizza yeast
- 2 teaspoons of Salt
- 1 cup of lukewarm water
- Sugar
- Pizza Sauce
- Use Onions, Green Peppers, Pineapple, Olives, Tomatoes, Mushrooms for topping. You can also use your favourite vegetables for topping.
The Process for 2 pizzas
- In your large bowl add 5 cups of flour
- Then add 2 teaspoons of pizza yeast
- Then add 2 teaspoons of sugar
- Then add 2 teaspoons of table salt
- Using a large spoon, mix your dry ingredients together,
- To your dry ingredients add 1/4 cup of olive oil. Mix your ingredients
- To your mixture gradually add 1 cup of water
- Knead the dough and add water or/and oil when needed
- Cover your bowl with the dough inside of it using Cling wrap
- Put it a warm place specifically your oven for it to “proof”
- Wait 1 to 2 hours for it to proof properly. For best results leave in for 3 hours or more.
- Take out the dough from the oven
As you see the dough is looking fully tight and dry. This process takes almost 3 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Take out your dough and flatten it out on your pizza pan.
- Assemble your pizza with your choice of toppings.
- When you have reached 450 degrees Fahrenheit, put your pizza in for 14 minutes. You could do a few more minutes or a few minutes less depending on how you like your pizza
- Once you hear the timer go off, use oven mitts to gently take out the pizza and place it on your kitchen counter.
- Cut it in slices carefully
- Enjoy your pizza.
