Coconut Chocolate cookies
Ingredients:
- All-purpose flour (one cup)
- Sugar (one cup)
- Baking powder (one tbsp.)
- Baking soda (one tbsp.)
- Milk (4 tbsp.)
- Butter (one cup)
- Coconut powder/ shredded (half cup)
- Cocoa powder (2 tbsp.)
- Parchment paper
- Cookie moulds [ if needed]
Recipe:
1. In a mixing bowl, take all-purpose flour and add baking powder, baking soda and cocoa powder to it. Mix it well
2. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and butter and start beating it until its fluffy and creamy.
3. Now, start adding your dry ingredients to the sugar-butter mix and start folding it in slowly. When it’s mixed completely, add milk as much required to form a soft-dough.
4. Once our dough is ready, take small portions of dough and form it into cookie shape either by using a cookie mould or with hands only.
5. Softly press your cookies in the coconut powder to cover it with coconut on the top side.
6. Spread parchment paper on the cookie tray and preheat oven at 350 degrees in the meantime.
7. Place cookies on the tray and bake it for 18-20 mins at 350 degrees.
8. Cool it down on room temperature and serve.
