A 10 Step Guide to Self-Care & Success
1)Avoid getting overwhelmed by makingto-dolists that help you with tracking deadlines and setting short term goals for yourself.
2)Give yourself enough time to complete assignments and study for quizzes/tests by incorporating that time into your to-do list .This also gives you time to ask questions along the way when needed.
3)In between your work, schedule time to do the things you enjoy and spend time with the people you care about.
4)Maintain a schedule that includes getting enough sleep at night and eating meals during the day to keep you energized.
5)Stay hydrated by drinking at least two litres of water a day
.6)Take your vitamins (as needed).
7)Throughout everything, try to be mindful and check in with yourself to consider what other methods of self-care you may need.
8)Talk to someone when you need to. When things do not make sense in your head, it can always help to talk things out with a friend or family member.
9)Celebrate your successes. While it is important to stay focused, it is equally important to enjoy your victories. This way, you have something to look forward to and work towards.
10)Throughout everything you are working on and the moments you are enjoying, take mental health breaks as needed. You could need a break at any time, and it is important to listen to your body. Take a moment as needed.
