In this section we will unpack some of the complexities of working with Indigenous Knowledge and Artificial Intelligence (AI). We will reflect on extractive settler-colonial practices and how this may translate in the digital realm. Specifically, we will look at AI’s impacts on Indigenous language revitalization, Indigenous voices, cultural appropriation. Lastly, we will look at AI collaborations with Indigenous communities.
