This book provides a critical understanding of relationship violence. It is used at KPU in the BSN program, at Douglas College in Early Childhood program, Gender and Sexuality Studies at SFU and Criminology at KPU and SFU. It has chapters on the NEVR Model used for collaboration, on violence against all genders, in the workplace, in post-secondary institutions and a chapter on burnout.

Lorrain’s Logbook: Notes from a Missionary in Mizoram, Northeast India (1891-1936) expands the archive for students of Northeast India. Authored by James Herbert Lorrain (Pu Buanga)—one of the most significant missionaries and linguists to operate in the colonial Indo-Burma borderlands—the Logbook is a record of personal observations across decades, from Lorrain’s arrival in Bengal in 1890 to his departure in 1932 from the Lushai Hills District (today: Mizoram). It contains vivid descriptions relevant to a wide range of historical fields—from labour, climate, and clothing to linguistics, animals, and economics—while showcasing how diverse local peoples navigated complex processes of colonial modernity as knowledge brokers, translators, performers, converts, experimenters, resisters, and dreamers.

It is an editable, open access learning resource with interactive web based experiences customized for horticulture students studying plant identification.

This first edition supports student achievement of the Level 1 and 2 learning goals for Red Seal Landscape Horticulturist Line F2:

• Identify plant and plant requirements for a range of plants commonly used in horticulture

It covers a range of topics related to designing and launching integrated marketing campaigns, such as research, audience segmentation, creative briefs, content calendars, and more. The authors have also included reusable materials and templates to support the marketing and communications efforts of those organizations with the smallest of budgets and most limited resources, namely not-for-profit organizations, NGO’s, charities, advocacy groups, and climate & social activists. The Open Guide to IMC is centred around the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals and created as an inclusive, equitable, and accessible resource to support quality education.

Chicago Style Citations covers why it is important to use citations, elements of common source types, and how to create footnotes or endnotes and bibliographic citations based on the 17th edition of the Chicago Manual of Style. The sources and activities throughout the tutorial focus on educational content. This tutorial can also be used as a reference resource. This tutorial is adapted from APA Style Citations by Ulrike Kestler (Kwantlen Polytechnic University), which in turn was based on the APA Style Citation tutorial Sarah Adams and Debbie Feisst (University of Alberta Libraries).
